Hello Jack—
Even a song like ‘Friday on My Mind’ is something I think as a song for the young folk. My last fave {I was mebbe 27 or so} was ‘Time’. by the Chambers Brothers. Hmmm—I might add ‘Dead End Street’ by Lou Rawls, whose terrific talent has never been properly recognized in my view.

We all have “our time” as far as music is concerned.
I confess I hadn’t heard the Chambers Brothers track. (I found it on You Tube as “Time Has Come Today.”) Soul music as by Lou Rawls pretty much passed me by.
