I came across this on Astronomy Picture of the Day, for 26/11/18. I missed it on the day as I was away.
It’s a view of the launch of a rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome as seen from the International Space Station and the video compresses 15 minutes into 90 seconds.
It’s not strictly speaking astronomy so I haven’t categorised it as such.

Astronomy Picture of the Day for 12/4/12, this is a view of Moscow by night from the International Space Station, one of whose solar panels takes up a large part of the frame.
It’s the city of Moscow here that took my eye, though. The radial pattern of the street lighting and the outlying suburbs along with the long tail part leading down the centre of the photo reminded me of a nerve cell.

Again via Astronomy Picture of the Day, published there on Hogmanay, these are pictures of Comet Lovejoy, which sadly only appears to be visible in the Southern Hemisphere.

The image on the left was taken from Intendente Alvear, Argentina, on Dec 24th and also shows the International Space Station crossing the frame as the long straight streak. The one on the right is from the space station itself, taken on Dec 22nd.
