A Son of the Rock

I noticed in the Guardian last week the obituary of Inez Foxx. The partnership she formed with her brother Charlie was not particularly successful in terms of hits in the UK but this song, an adaptation of the traditional lullaby Hush, Little Baby has had a long afterlife. Originally released in 1963 it got to no 33 in the UK charts on re-release in 1969.
