So here it is, the final track from Tull’s Christmas Album that I haven’t yet featured, a version of Gabriel Fauré’s Pavane in F Sharp Minor.

The 2000s is not a decade I’ve yet got around to having a dedicated music category for. It’s a bit recent.
However I saw the obituary of Mark Sheehan in the Guardian. It’s not 27 but his age of 46 is still shockingly young for a rock star to die. The band he played guitar in, The Script, wasn’t one I could say had impinged on me very much but the obituary made me check out their music.
This was their first UK hit.
