You and your wife have my sympathy, Jack. My wife and I have done our share of house-hunting in our time.
Our silliest experience was with a landlord who boasted that his flat offered “screams” in all the windows. He meant “screens”. S’welp me, I do not tell a lie.

Too many houses to make a choice from – and none of them tick all the boxes, or even most of the boxes.
