Weâre in the driving seat now! And three strikers scored.
I was actually more worried about this than the Cowdenbeath game last week and I was worried enough about that.
Forfar play Cowden next. I hope their manager (Dick Campbell) gets them back up for that game as, if Cowden donât win, we could more or less clinch it – taking our good goal difference into account – with a win ourselves next Saturday. (Note to self: chickens not yet hatched.)
I just wish we didnât have Elgin to play then. Games against bottom of the league teams are where Dumbarton sides tend to trip up.
It’s going to be a long week. (As this one was.)

Today was just brilliant Jack!
As a Par Dick Campbell will be doing his best to lift his players for next week!
Come on the Sons!

Aye, fret not Jack. If we play like we did yesterday, especially in the first 25 minutes, then Elgin will be blown away.
But we do still have to beat them. Momentum is with us and so too is confidence.

I said a few weeks ago that 65 points would win a team the championship. A win and a draw is all we need now, maybe less if Cowdenbeath slip up. It will be a long week…
