		<description>The rink roof was recovered before the recent fire. The old roof was sloped and was an asbestos roof made of rounded corrugated sheets rather than the squarer profile of the ridges now.

		<description>I had thought the recent fire hadn&#039;t damaged the (replaced) roof substantially as, from the front, I couldn&#039;t see any extensive damage any time I passed. But I&#039;m happy to be put right.
I believe before the fire it had been reroofed sometime in the last fifteen years.</description>
